Me and Dan went to the Humane Society Friday to look at puppies. That place makes me so sad :( so many sick animals. Well anyways, we found a puppy (well a few but we could only have one) and she is a 9 week old Australian Shepherd Labrador Retriever mix. She is the cutest thing ever. Well on Saturday after me and Dan talked about it we decided to fill out adoption papers for her. Well we found out that she isnt available for adoption until the 30th (no big deal only 5 days away) but the lady also said that within those few days she will be getting shots, neutered/spayed, and ID chipped. Since she will be in with the other dogs and that she is a very young pup she is at high risk of Kennel Cough.. which is easy to treat but it takes like a month. Now the bad part is they said we cannot take her home till she is cured of the kennel cough.. so there goes like 7-21 days more we have to wait. But the lady says we may get lucky and she wont get it so i'm hoping for no kennel cough.
This isn't a picture of Paige (thats what we decided to name her) but this is about 98% of what she looks like just a little smaller.
